The Nature of Bespoke Craftsmanship
At Alexya Diamond Boutique, every masterpiece is an individual journey. Unlike mass-produced jewelry, our pieces are Made-to-Order. From the moment you select your specific diamond to the final hand-polish, the item is being created exclusively for you. Because each piece involves custom-casting, precision stone setting, and artisanal labor tailored to your unique specifications, our production process is a firm and final commitment.
1. Consultation & Order Finalization
- Private Consultation: We operate exclusively through private appointments at our Toronto office. During your initial consultation, we discuss your vision, diamond preferences, and technical specifications.
- The Style Proposal & Offer: Following your consultation, you will receive a formal Style Proposal/Offer. Once you accept this offer, you will be invited back to our office to finalize the details and process your payment.
- Full Pre-Production Payment: To initiate the sourcing of your selected diamond and begin the artisanal crafting process, 100% of the total invoice amount must be paid in person at our office. Production will only commence once the funds have been cleared.
- Final Sale: Due to the personalized and resource-intensive nature of bespoke jewelry, all sales are final. We do not offer cash refunds, returns, or stone buy-backs once an invoice is paid and production has been initiated.
2. Production Timeline (2-3 Weeks)
- The Crafting Period: Each bespoke piece requires a standard production window of 2 to 3 weeks. This timeframe allows our master goldsmiths to ensure every microscopic detail meets our heritage standards.
- Modification Window: Clients have a strict 24-hour grace period from the time of payment to request minor design modifications. After this window, the order is locked into production, and no further changes or cancellations can be accepted.
3. Office Collection & Final Inspection
- Personal Pick-up Only: All finished masterpieces must be collected in person at our 197 Yonge St boutique. We do not offer online sales or shipping services to ensure the absolute security and integrity of your investment.
- Final Approval: Upon collection, you will perform a final inspection of your piece, including a Microscopic Verification of the diamond's laser inscription to ensure it perfectly matches your GIA/ IGI Diamond certification. Once the item leaves our office, it is considered accepted in perfect condition.
4. Sizing & Fit Responsibility
- Precision Sizing: Each ring is manufactured to the exact size confirmed and measured during your in-office consultation.
- Re-sizing Policy: If a client requests a size change after the piece is finished, a professional re-sizing fee will apply. Please note that certain intricate designs (such as full eternity bands) cannot be re-sized and may require a complete remake at the client’s expense.
5. Commitment to Satisfaction
While we do not offer refunds, your happiness is our masterpiece. If the final creation does not meet the technical specifications explicitly outlined in your paid invoice, we are committed to providing the necessary artisanal adjustments to ensure it aligns with our boutique’s heritage standards.
- Note: This commitment covers manufacturing discrepancies, not "change of mind" or subjective aesthetic shifts after production has begun.
6. Right of Refusal
Alexya Diamond Boutique reserves the right to evaluate the condition of any piece and refuse service (including Warranty and Maintenance) if the item shows signs of unauthorized third-party alterations, accidental damage, or wear that deviates from its original boutique-delivery state.
